Who we are
David Randall FRSA brings over 30 years of leadership experience, working with clients and their stakeholders to design and deliver purpose-driven projects built from the ground up to achieve lasting social impact.
Spanning tourism, public safety, the night-time economy, and the arts, David’s career reflects a consistent commitment to inclusive strategy, collaboration, and place-based transformation. He specialises in building cross-sector teams and guiding complex projects from concept to completion.
Night Time Economy: David has supported the development of night-time economy strategies across the UK, working closely with stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and citizens’ assemblies. He brings global insight to local challenges, drawing on best practices to shape inclusive and effective plans. David also contributes to the Best Bar None scheme, supporting safety and quality in licensed premises.
Safeguarding: As part of the national Ask for Angela team, David helps deliver safer socialising initiatives across the UK and internationally. His work with Westminster City Council supported the Westminster After Dark strategy, including the design of an accreditation scheme focused on preventing violence against women and girls.

He led international trade missions to Europe, the US, and Hong Kong, and created an integrated economic development service for the county.
Arts and Culture: As founding Chair of the Northampton Festival Company, David launched a not-for-profit organisation and board to lead a high-impact cultural programme. He continues to mentor individuals and organisations across the creative sector, supporting funding bids, DEI strategies, and long-term resilience planning.
Sustainable Tourism: Working with the global network of UNESCO Global Geoparks, David assembled a team to create a brand that promotes sustainable tourism and delivers benefits to local communities. He also partnered with the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark to develop and implement a pandemic recovery plan tailored to local needs.
Conferencing and Events: David successfully secured European funding to establish the Nottingham Event Team, a partnership with local hoteliers to address market gaps and attract major conferences to the city. He also led the delivery of the 7th International Conference for UNESCO Global Geoparks, enhancing the UK's global reputation in sustainable destination planning.
